Wet plastic powder is fed into the screw extrusion section, where intense compression and shear forces rapidly squeeze out surface moisture and inherent water. The partially dried material then is moved into the hot zone of the barrel, and be squeezed through the multi-hole plate mold, where electrical heat and controlled temperature cause the powder to soften, compact, and form into free-flowing granules/agglomerates.
